Back on October 2nd, we stood at the threshold of a New Moon in Libra at 10°, with the Full Moon set to bloom at 23° Libra six months later. Libra’s archetype of balance invited us to reevaluate the give and take within our relationships—personal, ancestral, and even spiritual.
But this wasn’t just any Libra lunation. The cosmos was brimming with retrogrades, sign shifts, and critical degrees. Let’s break it down:
The Nodes shifted from Aries/Libra to Pisces/Virgo.
Pluto transitioned from Capricorn to Aquarius.
Neptune moved from Pisces into Aries.
Mars and Saturn were both in retrograde, trining each other at 15°—two malefics reflecting deep emotional restructuring.
Venus, ruler of the New Moon, was in detriment in Scorpio, forming a grand water trine alongside Mars and Saturn—all in emotionally charged water signs.
Add to this the closeness of Mercury to the Sun and Moon, and we’re looking at a potent mix of emotional excavation, memory work, and karmic review. The cosmos pulled us back into the waters of the subconscious—family wounds (Mars in Cancer), spiritual boundaries (Saturn in Pisces), and pain rooted in love (Venus in Scorpio). All outer planets were retrograde—Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter—turning our gaze inward.
This lunation asked the hard questions:
Are your beliefs truly your own?
Have certain relationships shaped your path by challenging your dreams?
Are you living for yourself—or someone else’s idea of “what’s best for you”?
Sabian Symbol: A Professor Peering Over His Glasses at His Students
This symbol emphasized discernment. The message? Don’t blindly accept inherited knowledge—question what’s been passed down, especially from authority figures or those you hold in high esteem.
April 12th Full Moon in Libra (23°) – The Bloom of Emotional Labor
Fast forward six months. The work done beneath the surface is now blooming. This Full Moon shines light on what was hidden—bringing themes of self-worth, emotional maturity, and redefined relationships.
What’s different now?
Mars and Saturn meet again, but this time they’re direct, not retrograde.
They've moved from the 2nd to the 3rd decan of their respective signs, showing growth and evolution.
Venus, once in detriment, now sits in exaltation, conjunct Saturn in Pisces. Emotional authority rooted in compassion.
All Planets Direct – Forward Motion Begins
Every planet is now direct. The review is over. It’s go time.
Pluto and Neptune have changed signs.
The Nodes have moved.
The ruler of the Full Moon (Venus) is finally out of the shadows.
This lunation’s Sabian Symbol?
"A butterfly with a third wing on its left side."
The butterfly—a classic symbol of transformation—grows a third wing. It’s not just rebirth—it’s mutation.
Have you shifted the way you show up emotionally? Have you mutated your approach to love, dreams, and family?
Reflections & House Themes By Rising Sign
Depending on your rising sign, the Full Moon illuminates different areas of your chart.
Here’s a guide:
🔥 Fire Risings (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
Air Houses are activated by the Full Moon:
Libra Full Moon in Air Houses:
Aries Rising: 7th House — Relationships, marriage, business partnerships
Leo Rising: 3rd House — Siblings, communication, short-distance travel
Sagittarius Rising: 11th House — Friends, community, long-term goals
But there’s more happening behind the scenes…
With Saturn in Pisces and Mars in Cancer, the Water Houses are also deeply stirred:
4th House – Your roots, family lineage, and emotional foundation are being restructured.
This could bring up ancestral patterns, mother wounds, or the need to create firmer emotional safety within the home.
8th House – Themes of shared assets, power dynamics in deep bonded relationships, intimacy, and even taboo or suppressed topics are on the table for transformation.
12th House – The hidden realm. Self-undoing, subconscious fears, spiritual healing, and isolation may be rising to the surface.
Mars here can stir unconscious anger or long-buried pain, while Saturn urges discipline in your spiritual and emotional boundaries.
These transits call for deep emotional honesty. What was inherited? What have you buried?
Are you ready to release what no longer belongs to your soul’s journey?
🌍 Earth Risings (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)
Earth Houses are in focus during this Full Moon:
Libra Full Moon in Earth Houses:
Taurus Rising: 6th House — Daily routines, health, coworkers
Virgo Rising: 2nd House — Money, self-worth, possessions
Capricorn Rising: 10th House — Career, reputation, public role
In tandem, Saturn in Pisces and Mars in Cancer are activating your Water Houses, bringing emotional growth and karmic review into these areas:
3rd House – Communication, your relationship with siblings, short-distance travel, and the way you perceive and articulate your thoughts.
Mars here can stir passionate or reactive speech; Saturn may challenge you to slow down and speak from grounded emotional wisdom.
7th House – One-on-one relationships, including romantic partnerships and business contracts. Mars might surface buried conflict;
Saturn demands boundaries, maturity, and clarity in how you show up for others.
11th House – Your community, friendships, and long-term dreams or aspirations.
This is where you evaluate who you’re aligning with and whether they support your vision—or drain it.
Saturn here brings seriousness to your social commitments; Mars might make you more assertive (or defensive) about your place in groups.
This configuration is asking: Are your words healing or harming? Are your relationships rooted in equality and reciprocity?
Do your friendships and goals reflect who you’re becoming—not just who you’ve been?
🌬️ Air Risings (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)
Fire Houses are activated by the Full Moon:
Libra Full Moon in Fire Houses:
Gemini Rising: 5th House — Creativity, children, romance
Libra Rising: 1st House — Self-identity, appearance, personal path
Aquarius Rising: 9th House — Higher learning, beliefs, long-distance travel
At the same time, Saturn in Pisces and Mars in Cancer are moving through your Earth Houses, bringing attention to your foundations in the material and public world:
2nd House – Your finances, possessions, and sense of self-worth.
Mars here can trigger financial stress or a drive to build something solid, while Saturn tests the sustainability of your values and earning methods.
6th House – Your daily routines, health, and relationships with coworkers or those you manage.
This transit can bring up burnout or demand stricter discipline in how you take care of your body and time.
10th House – Your career, reputation, and role in the outer world.
Mars adds drive and ambition, possibly tension with authority. Saturn pushes for long-term stability and asks you to clarify your professional path with integrity.
You're being called to anchor your inspiration into action. Are your goals supported by your routines?
Is your self-worth reflected in how you're compensated and seen in the world?
Do you need to restructure your time, work, or habits to match the person you're becoming?
🌊 Water Risings (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)
Water Houses are spotlighted by the Full Moon:
Libra Full Moon in Water Houses:
Cancer Rising: 4th House — Home, family, emotional roots
Scorpio Rising: 12th House — Subconscious, isolation, karmic endings
Pisces Rising: 8th House — Shared resources, intimacy, transformation
Meanwhile, Saturn in Pisces and Mars in Cancer are activating your Fire Houses, pushing you toward passionate transformation and bold emotional growth:
1st House – Your body, physical appearance, and the mask you show to the world.
Mars gives a push to reassert yourself, possibly triggering anger or power struggles;
Saturn is reshaping how you define yourself, bringing maturity and a deeper sense of self.
5th House – Children, lovers, creativity, and the pursuit of joy.
Mars here brings heat—desire, drama, or drive. Saturn asks: Are you aligned with what really brings your heart to life, or are you still chasing empty fun?
9th House – Higher learning, belief systems, long-distance travel, publishing, and justice.
You may find yourself questioning what you believe and why.
Mars can create a fiery need to defend your truth, while Saturn urges you to ground those beliefs in lived experience and integrity.
This energy is potent and deeply personal. You’re being asked: Who are you becoming?
What do you believe in now—beyond what you've been told?
What role do joy and creativity play in your journey forward?
Closing Thoughts: Integration Is the Real Gift
This Full Moon is more than a culmination—it’s integration.
If you did the emotional work, faced the ghosts of your past, and questioned the frameworks you were handed, then you’re ready for this next chapter.
