Mercury is finally out of retrograde… but not out of the shadow. That lingering feeling of “something still isn’t settled”? Yeah, that’s the post-retrograde shadow phase, and it won’t officially clear until April 27th.

So what is shadow? It’s the part of the sky Mercury travels over again after turning direct—revisiting the same degrees it covered while retrograding. This time, Mercury started its backspin at 9° Aries and retrograded back into Pisces. Now, as it moves forward again, it retraces those steps.
